The Bundaberg area offers a number of wonderful attractions and tours.
MON REPOS TURTLE ROOKERY
Australia’s best known logger head turtle rookery. From mid November to late March the giant sea turtles make their way up the beach to lay their eggs. You can also see baby hatchlings emerge under the over of darkness.

THE HUMMOCK LOOKOUT
Located 10km east of Bundaberg via Bargara Road or Windermere Road, the Hummock is an extinct volcano and is the highest point in the district offering views stretching as far as 1770 and Fraser Island on a clear day.

KRAZY MAZE CAFÉ

ALEXANDRA PARK AND ZOO
Alexandra Park offers local and exotic wildlife, a large modern playground area, river views, some interesting war history, family BBQ areas and spacious grassy areas. Admission is free. Open during daylight hours.
BUNDABERG BOWL AND LEISURE COMPLEX

BALDWIN SWAMP AND ENVIRONMENTAL PARK
A natural wetland which includes wildlife breeding areas, boardwalks, walking tracks with shelter shed picnic facilities. A nice day out with the children. Admission is free.
Shalom Sunday Markets
Weekly Sunday Morning markets held at Shalom Catholic Collage on Fitzgerald Street where you can purchase fresh local produce, plants and locally made Arts and Crafts. Why not grab a bite to eat from one of the many stalls and listen to the live entertainment while the kids play on the Jumping Castle. Admission is free.
BUNDABERG RUM DISTILLERY
Visit the home of Bundaberg Rum. Take one of the many tours they offer. Purchase something from the gift shop including our famous Bundy Bear. BUNDABERG BOTANICAL GARDENS
Visit Bert Hinkler’s English Cottage and see the fascinating display of aviation exploits in the house which was transported brick by brick from Southampton (England) to Bundaberg. The kids and enjoy the playgrounds and go for a ride on the Steam Train. Mum and Dad will love the Museum and for lunch you can picnic in the lovely gardens, enjoy a BBQ or dine in the restaurant.
